Devices Designed for real world impact
Oxygen Splitters
Our Oxylife splitters are designed and assembled in Uganda and can be attached to the available oxygen sources such as cylinders or concentrators already existing in hospitals to increase the capacity to supply up to 5 babies with oxygen at the same time
Phototherapy Eye Shields
These are locally designed and made phototherapy eye shields to protect the babies’ eye during lifesaving phototherapy and prevent the spread of infection from using other pieces of cloth to cover the eyes
The KeySuite Laparoscopic Device
This is a low cost device that allows keyhole surgery. Shishi has manufactured the unit on behalf of Makerere University Biomedical Research Center (MakBRC) to use in their clinical trials.
